COVID-19 Information and Precautions

The WV DHHR and the CDC is recommending that everyone wear fabric face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.

FMRS Health Systems continues to work to ensure that help today leads to a better tomorrow. During these uncertain times due to the COVID-19 pandemic, FMRS remains committed to serving our communities. Our management team is monitoring the situation and working with local, state, and federal agencies in order to make decisions and put into place protocols to protect our consumers and employees. We are actively modifying our programs as needed to best protect everyone involved; therefore, we are encouraging people to contact us for the most up-to-date information about our services before coming to the office.

We recognize that dealing with the stress from the COVID-19 pandemic can be overwhelming at times. We are still here and ready to help. If you are currently seeing a therapist with FMRS, please expect a call from your provider explaining options for conducting your appointment using video conference or telephone. If you would like to get back into therapy at this time, just give us a call and we will be happy to set up an intake appointment.

At this time we are asking you to please not enter our building if you have visited a foreign country in the last thirty days or been in contact with someone who is suspected to have or is confirmed to have the COVID-19 virus; and/or are experiencing any of these symptoms:

  • Fever or feeling feverish

  • Sore Throat

  • Runny or stuffy nose

  • Cough

  • Muscle or body aches

  • Headaches

  • Fatigue

If you are receiving primary care services at the Beckley office and are experiencing any of the above criteria, please call the office ahead of time to let your provider know. That way we can be prepared for your visit and reduce the chances of spreading the virus to others.

FMRS employees are working hard to keep our facilities safe and sanitary. We have also implemented visitation restrictions for our residential programs. Please call ahead of time to confirm requirements for visiting your loved one.
